it has not fully recovered from the tapping strain..

i have played tennis and squash..
and today..
while rushing out of the house..i took my heels out..
i wore them in the car..

the strain in my left foot came to haunt me.
felt like i walked a thousand miles in them.
i'm sorry foot.

drove uncle philip's merc today.
from church to HF.
i drove real slow cos i wasnt used to his car.but it was shiok.
thank goodness nothing bad happened.

this weekend..i've been a lil out of sorts.
felt very random.
too many things on my mind i guess.

hmm..pray for me for wisdom.
how to lead my youth's worship to a higher realm of worship..
how to spur my carenet on to want to desire more of Him..
how to get my youth to grow..
i know i'm not gonna do it alone..
i wanna know what He has in store.

yesterday was fantabulous!
suffering from the aftermath now.
but it was rocking!

met ye ye at boonlay to get the videocam from him before heading down to ECP with jon.
met drew nicholas and jessica at the mac's.
and we walked TWO CLICKS to the cable ski!
my poor left injured left foot.
haha.
but cable skiing is fun.
i did the kneeboarding.it was quite tough to get used to in the beginning.
but subsequently when you get hte hang of it..its super fun.
tiring on my arms tho.
and my neck and arms are aching like mad monkeys now.

after nua-ing at the beach..jessica and i realised that there wasnt any showering rooms.only the open shower.
so we walked further down to find the showering room..
we walked and walked...
[my poor left foot again.]
and finally found the SINGLE showering room...somewhere further down..pass bedok jetty.
the walk seemed forever.

anyhoo..after bathing and what not..nicholas jessica drew and i..cabbed down to bugis to alight jessica and then to clark quay mrt.
the stupid androgynous taxi driver brought us on a merry-go-round.
but i shall tame my tongue and not complain anymore.
either way..i was FREAKING pissed.
yes.
so we went to clark quay..
met matthea caroline and junbin at brewerks.
ate our huge burgers.
and then some movement of pple..
and then the crowd of junbin jon drew jessica and i..found ourselves at cafe iguana.
sipping..no..gulping down 2 jugs of margharitas [ lime and strawberry] and one mucho cup of peach margharita.
i have never drunk so fast before.
i felt super floaty and was making conscious effort to make sure i still talked sense.
and i regurgitated.
alot.
i have never regurgitated so much in such a long time.
but i felt so much better.

jon and jb sent me home in a cab..and i got home about 130.

fantastic day i say.

next week is exciting too.
yay for holidays.

i'm having withdrawal symptoms.

i miss the people and the kids so much.
especially my dominic.

the filippinos are such warm people.
i felt so comfortable.
and they really amplify and demostrated to me what it means to be generous inspite of your lack.

many homepartners invited us to their house. and fed us noodles, kuehs and RC cola.

the kids are absolutely adorable.and clingy.and just so much fun.

the skilled workers, andres, charwin,saoro and jun are such fun to work with as well.
i'm really gonna miss them, esp andres.

and God was simply amazing!!
He is so Sovereign and in control of all things..He just blows me away.

everything committed to God..is a sure-fire thrill.

at first we thought we couldnt put up our puppetry show for the orphanage afterall cos we prepared for kids from 0-7 years.and when we were there..we learnt that we're only seeing kids from 0-2.5 year olds.
and their kids are so adorable.i went there and became a reclined chair.
and the little girl just sat on my lap and observed the rest of the room.

oh yes..so we thought the door was closed on us.
but NO! God opened an opportunity for us to show it to the villagers.and the kids loved it.
and saturday's event flowed so well..despite us being so unprepared.
it was really God's Hand at work.
the kids got so amused even singing "if you're happy and you know it.." .the 13 year olds and below were so enthusiastic.
i got such an adrenaline playing with them.
and they loved the show..even the adults.it was the first puppetry show shown at the village.

sunday's event was fantastic again.
we sat in for a catholic mass..then after that..there was a bible study.
which both our team's staff esther and pastor suzanne shared.
the games were fantastic again.
and the filippinos thought us how to dance "ochor ochor".
its so tough!
and some other dance too.
wow.

and we passed pastor suzanne the Jesus film in tagalog vcd.
cos when were there..we realised our projector wasnt working well enough for the image to be sharp and bright enough.
then on sunday night itself..during our team's daily night devotions..i accidentally kicked the projector..and SURPRISE!!! we found the brightness knob!
but i was having a heart attack..cos the projector was showing only black and white..and then it wasnt sharp..then after a while..they managed to get the colour back..and realises that it was sharper than before and it could be very much brightened.
GOD REALLY ANSWERS PRAYERS!!

so TADAH!! we managed to show the Jesus film on friday night.
and many people turned up..and andres mentioned that they really enjoyed the show.
God is simply amazing.

i must always remind myself to trust in Him..to have total faith in Him.
for He is all-powerful and ALWAYS faithful.
its in the midst of challenges and uncertainty..
that truly His strength is made whole in our weakness.

i really miss the village.
the kids..melanie..roseann..meridel..john paul..jason..DOMINIC..
i miss all the clowning around with charwin saoro jun and andres.
i miss mixing cement.
i miss perspiring so much.
i miss our volleyball matches.
i miss the little goat.
i miss whitie.

i really enjoyed myself.
and God really showed Himself so real.

trust and obey.

random thoughts that bombard my neurons now and then.

.friends.
it seems like my mg clique, we ourselves, have formed a drug.
a drug so strong and potent that we suffer withdrawals from it.
some have major side effects, others find smaller drugs or even identical drugs to lessen the effects.
what exactly am i talking about? chemistry.
our clique is able to go crazy together, having mass ice cube fights, tickling frenzies, playing pepsi cola in the contriangle eventhough we were sec4 ..etc.
but at the same time..we can talk about anything under the sun,our future,retirement plans, aspirations, anything serious. and we are so synchronised.
after about 6 years together.. then came the after secondary school effect.
i was blessed to have my shir ayeeba and ame in PJC with me..and now my crazy monkeys.
rachel had her crazy american friends in bible school.
so on and so forth...we all found new friends but not all were fortunate enough to find that potent random,spontaneous,just-do-it, be-yourself-we-still-love-you kinda drug.
sometimes people around us seem to be a tad bit boring cos we're so used to madness.
i think its time to get all us together and go crazy and break free.
goodness knows some need to release their inner child and just go crazy.

my dog just recently injured his front right paw.
he whimpers when my dad tries to check what happened.
my dog now uses his injury as a whining tool.

CONFESSION TIME!
during OBS in j1..on the second last day..everyone was supposed to run 9km around the island..symbolic of the 9 days we were at camp.
i didnt go for it because..
a) my knees were hurting.
b) i just really didnt wanna run 9km.
my knees really did hurt..a lil..but mostly it was because of reason B that i didnt go.
i know my instructor didnt totally buy my "my knees are hurting! i cant run" nonsense..but it was a personal choice.so i skipped it.
help me! i'm weak! -whimper-

the first goal was beautiful.

Global day of prayer at the national stadium on sunday was amazing.
worshiping the Lord of heaven and earth..with the skies sprawled out right before your eyes..
the sun setting with red tinted clouds.

just makes one feel so thankful and in total awe.

not sure if i should do it..cos i have to fall on the floor about 4 times.
and my knees havent been doing very well.
ever since my fall last sunday. my left knee cannot bend.
i cant squat.i cant walk for too long.
