this is the question i have asked a few people for the past two days.
me: its like falling into darkness and know that you will not get hurt. [im scared of the dark]
drey: its like lemonade.the first taste if sour..but subsequently its sweet..because you know that God is there.
chowie: its like falling off a cliff and know that there's a hand that will catch you.
kel :its like bungee jumping.its calculated so well until the point you just hit the water and the rope goes taut and pulls you back up and you're safe.
something to think about.
chowie said that im eccentric today.
cos she was character profiling kel drey and i.
she said that im a IC..influencial and conscientious.
its two ends of the pendulum.
i must be surrounded by pple..but even when im in a crowd sometimes i like doing things on my own and will be reserve.

phew.
finally done packing and moving the things ard the room with my mum.
it was the usual..im-not-willing-to-pack-and-i-am-forced-to-do-this scenario..
argh.
really dun like packing my room with my mum.
since young.
always get irritated.
but i know that at the end of the day..my room is very much neater..and alot of stuff is thrown out.
sigh.

i went to collect my specs last night.
on the way to boonlay mrt..i accidentally walked too near a girl..and you that sometimes you tend to kick the person in front of you's shoe..
hahaha..
i accidentally kicked a girl's one..and i didnt know that it flew off her foot.
not very far la..
but she had to pivot to go and wear her slipper back.
i didnt stop to say sorry.
i just rushed past her.
i dunnoe why i didnt say sorry.
in that moment.
i feel quite bad.
i think next time i wldnt walk so near other pple.
so for that..i gave myself a grey dot sticker.
story behind the sticker..
on thurs..at campus crusade..we heard a story about this puppet maker..the puppets that he made have this daily routine of going around sticking stickers on each other..
if they thought you were pretty or they liked something abt you..they wld give you a golden star sticker..if they thought you were clumsy or they didnt like smth about you..they wld give you a grey dot.
so there was this one puppet..who always tried to get a golden star..he wld try jumping really high..but when he fell..they wld laugh at his clumsiness and give him a grey dot.
so he kept accumulating all the grey dots.
and some puppets saw that since he had to many..there must be smth wrong with him..so he got more grey dots..
so he was a miserable puppet.
then one day he saw this girl puppet..with no stickers on her.
he wondered why.and she brought him to the maker.
the maker told him that he was esp made that way..and he was unique and special.
the girl puppet didnt have any sticker on bec she decided not to let other pple's opinions to affect her..so the stickers didnt stick.
and the maker told the miserable puppet that if he needed reassurance of his uniqueness..he just needed to come to him everyday and he will be reminded.
so the puppet decided not to let the opinions affect him and slowly the grey dots dropped off.
after campus crusade..we went supper..
walking to the busstop..i accidentally tripped abit..and then..out of the blue..gabriel the ahgong poked me and gave me a grey dot!
and he started awarding himself golden stars for being cute!!he's super not shy.
haha.
so bec of that..i gave ownself a grey dot for kicking the girl.
hahhaa.

my dad thought it was at the first floor..so we went down..the place didnt look familiar..so we thought we should try another lift..so we went up..and den down again..den my dad decided to go to level3B..so when we went there..we walked ard the carpark..and we finally found it!

cos the first level of carpark is actually at the 3rd floor.
rah.

so fun.

and i parked the car!!so proud of myself.

i agreed to do back up singing for campus crusade's crossroads next week.
so nervous.haha.
we have music practice on wed night..so next week there's no tap dancing for laopo and i.sob.
and on thursday night!!!!yay!!!im gonna have a stayover at enting's hostel room..yay..dor..me..enting..isabel and edlyn!!

ive still been trying to work out my spiritual walk.
been neglecting Him again.pray everyday.but still feel like something is amiss..im not satisfied with the state im in.
its good in a way..cos im still reaching..but it frustrates me sometimes..cos the problem lies within me..and i am still trying to work it out..haiz..bought a book yest..hopefully it was spur me on..its called "the chase" its abt pursuing holiness in our everyday life.
alot of birthdays this month.
need to figure out wad to buy.
and lizzie's prezzie is like..one year overdued??hahaha.

I PASSED!!!!YAY!!!WOOHOOZ!!!16 POINTS!!!YAY YAY YAY!!!
hahahaha.
a huge thank you to all who prayed for me..
i had a test route that didnt require a u-turn..and..it was a route that i was quite familiar with.
hahaha.
yay.
so happy.
i struck the pole while parallel parking..which is 4 demerit pts.
and i didnt know that a tester car is allowed to go 70km/h..i kept within 60..so thats how i got 4 demerits pts..
my driving wasnt as good as my usual..but the tester was so nice!!
when i was facing him and he was marking..and underlining stuff on the sheet of paper..
i was so nervous..
he looked at me and said 'your braking not very good.too hard.need to improve'
den he flipped the paper..wrote 16 points..struck off "failed" and ticked passed.
i was grinning like mad..
hahaha..
was so happy!!
i said "thank you!"
and he didnt say anything.sorta made it a bit anticlimatic.
hahaha.but i was so happy!!!
i waited for my mr seah to thank him.shook his hand too.
though i complained alot abt him..he really is a good instructor.hahaha.
got my license made.
cant wait to get it.
CANT WAIT TO DRIVE!

THE DAY IS APPROACHING!!!
ahhhh!!!
everybody scream!!!!
so scared.
i dun think i can pass.
last night's driving..was..-faints-..bad..
for this stretch of road..though short distance..i suddenly drove nonsense la..
argh!
i swerved to the right to siam a parked lorry..den when i was going to turn left..i didnt steer left enough..almost whacked the next car..sort of..thankfully mr seah pulled..hahaha..
den..when i was going over a hump..i changed to third gear..when im supposed to slow down..den..when there werent anyone gonna cross the zebra crossing..i stopped..aiyah..i dunnoe what i was doing la..was so pissed..argh!!
anyway..hopefully im well rested for tonight's driving..
im quite scared for tml's test.
ahhh!!
trying to study now.

the physics text book makes a good bed time story.

AHHH!!!
wad an exciting week..
tuesday :
went to the zoo with elvin deon gab kel sam drey and justin.
it was fantastic fun!
erm..our tourist no.1 was quite embarassing.
he kept imitating animals.and saying random stuff.hopping into enclosures.
sigh.
that was the only dampener.sort of.
owellz.
but other than that..the guys were tremendous fun.
elvin is gonna be the future face of the zoo..the croco-wolf.
and we found his species.the mugger crocodile.ie..mugger buaya.
exactly what elvin is!!
hahaha.
on wednesday i played squash with divya suruchi and free willy.
free willy was nice enough to drive me home.
hahaha.ive found another ah mat
haha.
oh yar!! -in the toliet-
i was in the female handicap toliet cubicle..when i was gonna go out..someone knocked at my door..when i opened..this 0ld lady said to me
"you shouldnt be using this toliet!its meant for old ladies!"
"ok." - rolls eyes-
i didnt mean to be rude la..but honestly!!hello!! grow old graciously please!!
ergh!
anyway..at night..i went for tap with wifey!!i made quite alot of mistakes.sob.and i cant pivot on my left foot very well.

i had my driving lesson!!
and i forgot that the counter to renew my pdl(provisional driving license) closed at 5.
and i only realised it at ard 6+.
i was panicking like mad cos i thought i couldnt go and drive and i had to forfeit myt 72 bucks..cos i cldnt cancel my lesson.
and den..as i was lying in bed..feeling very sad..teckyen popped into my head!and i decided to call him and complain..but he was brilliant!!he told me that i was to go to the post office instead of the bbdc centre to renew my card..and if i cldnt have renewed it in time for my lesson i could go and just drive in the circuit!!
so brilliant.
i totally forgot that i could drive in the circuit without my pdl!!
so i rushed to the cck post office to try my luck to see if they were still open..but to my dismay they werent.
owellz.so i just drove in the circuit.
friday :
i was late for my 1030 dental appointment in the morning..and so i cancelled..cos if i had gone..i wld have needed to rush all the way down...just for the dentist to see if my bridge is alright..and i wld have needed to rush all the way to school for my 1130 lecture.
so i didnt go..rescheduled..and went straight to school..
met ah gong gabriel and sam after lessons at 430 to study a bit..cos i had to attend the kranji's 10th anniversary performance.dansical.musical+ dance = dansical!
anyway..i was embarrassing drey..cos when the choir came on..with their instructor uncle francis..and sang love changes everything..the one he taught us before..i was singing along to them..into her ear..she was like..irritated.hahaha.i love irritating my sister.
hahahahhaa.owellz.kk.childish.
anyhoo..the dances were very nice..esp the confrontational dances..like..so..you've got served..haha..the finale though..was..erm..abit..lian..cos they all danced parapara to the song by dj sammie..and the thing is..kranji though being a neighbourhood school..isnt that ah lian sort..so my sister was quite taken aback..the song was quite long too..i wished they had cut it..owellz.
saturday:
went out with ame..and drey..watched charlie and the choc factory with ame..but the gurls next to ame were super irritating..they kept talking so loudly..commenting..and repeating after the narrator after he says the names of the kids..ahh!!
i tsked once or twice..and ame stared..but nnnoooo..they were still so highly irritating.argh!
but other than that..im super happy i got to meet ame.
i hafta wait one more mth to get my new hp.cos im 20 mth now..can only upgrade at 21 mths..sob.
ahh..okok.in all..it was quite eventful la..got other things that happened too..but so lazy to type.
this week i shall try to blog everyday..so i wldnt miss out that many things..
please pray for me on wednesday..ive got my driving test at 345.

got closer to my tutorial group today.
15/21 pple went for lunch together.
darren and jiayi keep talking alot nonsense.
kept laughing.
during lab..our tutor wore jeans and pink polo..he looked like one of us..den jiayi asked if he was a student..and he said that he was gonna teach us today..hahaha..so funny..
mr tan is like..getting his phD and going on to doctorate.
i asked him what he was gonna do after he gets his doctorate..

we all broke out laughing..so random la..
study until doctorate so you can print the words Dr. on yr namecard..hahahaha..
but its fun..we made more frens..and cleared..erm..some doubts abt someone's gender..=)

i made frens with deborah huang's brother today!hahaha.cos samuel and i were queuing for 179..den daniel(dhuang's bro) came and said hi to samuel..den sam intro-ed us..and also volunteered that i was an mg girl..so daniel asked if i knew dhuang..hahaha.
such a small world...so i went lecture with him..met his two frens..eugenia and bryan..eugenia looked super familiar..den it struck me..she was at campus crusade FOC too.hahaha..i told her i was the flasher..den she remembered..oh dear.
hahaha.so yeah..daniel kept promoting bryan..cos bryan is a model.solo guitarist and like very zai.so yar.hahaha..madness.
i met my tutorial grp..the china girls are very nice..hahaha..went out with shir..ate mushroom soup!!at raffles city..and i went to thread my eyebrows..
i realised that..
1. i really really LOVE tap-dancing..no wad..i knew that all along..
2. i must be a testimony of God in everything i do..its quite tough..but yar..we're ambassadors for Christ..this area of my life needs a lot of working on..
3. i REALLY need to start studying!!
ahhhhh!!!!
but above all..i really thank God for seeing me through so many things...and loving me besides my shortcomings..and skeletons in my closet..

went to school with samuel.
was slightly late for lecture.
was falling asleep during lecture.
took a cab home.
slack abit.
slept four hrs.
and now..im up trying to settle stuff.
need to do my maths tutorial.
its so chim..hahaha..
kiddin..its just that its like..Cmaths all over again.
and im rusty.
i need oil.
hahaha.
hafta go read thru my econs text too.
meeting my mentor tml.
so sian.the whole class has to.
but..at least at night..

hahahaha..yar..so that's the freaky thing..samuel and i have so much in common..according to doreen..hahaha..so now i have a twin brother...hahaha..a bit more likely one den my zixiang..hahahahha..
owellz..besides that..today was quite bad...early in the morning..i went to the lab...i was at north spine..cos i thought we were doing a civil and environmental expt..but i was told that i was to do a optics one..so i had to go to the south spine..and i was super late!!cos the 179 queue was never ending..yar..so i rushed down..and i missed the briefing...so i was lost..and i made a new fren..sharon...she's in my tut grp....but she's a pretty..and studious girl...so i think i mustnt disturb her too much..yar..and i CUTE MALAY GUY!! it told divya i shld give ayeeba's number to him...heh heh...
econs lecture is still very bad... my lecturer's english..is powderful..

i have a temp. bridge..
and its crooked and yellow!!
sob!!wail!!!
i dun dare talk...and smile..
but i tried convincing myself just now that it looks..ok la..
now i know how it feels to be in a crooked teeth person's shoes..
owellz..i guess it takes getting used to..
and at least it is only for a week..den i get my new proper one..
it felt a bit better that samuel talked to me abt his..hahaha..but his sounds alot more painful..ouch.
drilling with no numbing effect..ouch.
i just realised that i cant drink cold drinks..cos my two teeth that just got drilled today..is still like..raw or smth..super sensitive..haiyah...mah fan..

and the sunlight broke through the cloudy day
im feeling much much better.
thanks to all the darlings who have been trying to cheer me up.
it worked.
it also helps that my wireless is finally working..
my lecture notes can be collected tomorrow..
so all in all..ive settled most of my things..
just need to do my concession card..
=)
but i realised this morning..that i should have attended my life science lecture yesterday!!
1030-1230 am..rah..now since i missed it..i hafta go for tomorrow's one..but its from 630-820 pm!! oh cries..and before that i have a maths lecture from 130-230..so that leaves me with a four hours of nothing-to-do-ness..
hmm.
so blur la.

ok..blog abt new happier exciting things that are gonna happen..to me la..:
1. i MIGHT be getting a yamaha clavinova!!woohooz.
2.i AM getting a bridge..ie. permanent fake tooth.costing quite alot.
and yes..that also means no more fake denture to scare pple with anymore.haha.
erm..no more.

this morning i woke up with the song "You are the peace..that guards my heart.." in my head..
and i felt so much better...HE is indeed our peace..but its up to us to receive it..
i admit..ive been running ard so much..He hasnt been no.1 on my list..
so now..i have to bring myself back..seek Him first..cos He is the most important afterall..
im so happy..really..
i guess now that im more settled..and rested..(12 hrs of sleep last night..wooo..) .
im more ready to face the world.
