today's my church's 28th anniversary..and we prayed and install my pastor into his new ministry as an apostle. so it was tremendous fun.
God truly has been faithful to our church.
pastor Tom Ware, his wife Julie and his 22 year old son Scott came down from the US to join in our celebrations.
the young girls ar...terrible terrible.
i kept telling them "terrible terrible.Beo-ing.beo-ing!"
argh.hahaha.they are so funny la.they kept going "ahhh! he's SOO hot!" or GIGGLING from a far.
hahaha.


met my j2 classmates for lunch at marina square.
my singlehood and 3 of my friends' singlehood was amplified.
hahaha. [not that it really matters]
but..haha.they attached 5..were sitting at one side.and coincidentally the lonely hearts 4 were on the other side.
pictures of "other halves" were circulating around the table.haha.
i really miss my j2 classmates.hern khoon is just..so drama.and so hilariously entertaining.
my honey benji is as blur as ever..and no one was paying attention to him much.haha.
huimin has soo many scandals.yusheng has lost alot of weight.no one changed.and everyone was just having fun.


played arcade and pool for a while.

b. my pool is very rusty.not as if i was very good to begin with.

the two babies krystal[10] and krystie[7] came along too.
while waiting for drey and scott.and as kel was changing her attire.
i brought the two girls to look at shoes.

cos i was holding on to their hands and just walking.
and i told krystal "do you think pple will think i'm your mother??!!!"
then she immediately let go of my hand and said "ok.then i dont walk near you la! then no one will think that way."

but i love holding on to their hands and just walking.and twirling krystie around and singing veggie tales songs with them.


we went to the airport to eat POPEYE'S CHICKEN!!
i travelled from T1 to T2's mac's....................just to get the hotcakes syrup.
haha.cos popeye's dont give maple syrup to go with their biscuits anymore!haha.
it was worth all 20 mins of travelling.

watched dick lee's musical "man of letters" on sunday with aunt helen, aunt daisy and aunt irene.

it was fantastic. its so sad to have the one you love fall for your good fren..and you having to write the love letters for your good fren.

i never knew our bird which is at our front balcony can sing so well.

worship last night was awesome.
God really answers prayers and His presence ministered to so many pple last night.

i was quite nervous for worship.
cos i was trying a new style of worship.
a new style in ref to my personal experience.

i did Our God is an awesome God. i wanted it to climax like how it was done in hillsong's newest cd..when they just did drum solo.and it was like..declaration cum going to battle type.
and also to do climax and change over to the chorus "be to our God, forever and ever".
but during practice..we didnt manage to reach that high cos the drumming was a lil off and i was getting a lil worried.
cos if we didnt peak it would go very wrong.
and i was also a lil afraid the worship would get a lil too noisy for the adults.

but God is so amazing.and He really never fails.
everything went perfectly well..
and people were worshipping and praising Him.
almost brought me to tears.

today, couple of the adults came and told me that they were really ministered to during worship.

my aunt actually didnt want to come last night..but she did and she really enjoyed herself in His presence.and one of the songs "humble yourself in the sight of the Lord" was in line with the verse that she did devotions with in the morning.

and aunt alicia told me that one of the verses that i read [psalm 68:19] was exactly what she wrote in her journal to God..of Him loading her with benefits.and she was really ministered to.

and i was BLOWN AWAY! when i heard it.
it was like at the bottom of my heart..from my inner being..i was smiling.
unbelievable happiness.
not only did God do one hit.HE DID TWO!
or even more.

God is unstoppable and Almighty.

its amazing what He can do.
i've learnt not to underestimate Him.
seriously.
its hard.but..i must constantly remind myself to stop binding His hands with my own carnality.
its never our strength that ministers..but only by His spirit.

im overjoyed that He has continually been answering my prayer for this year.im growing in Him.to trust and obey.to be yielded.its painful.but its no longer i that liveth.

continue to teach me Lord.dont give up on me.

pruning is a painful process.branches that are not bearing fruit are broken and thrown away.but its for the better of the plant.
so hey..im not complaining.

had missions training camp from thursday to saturday.
it went really well..the one lesson that struck me was "how to find common ground".about how Paul when speaking to the men in Athens, he had studied their culture and was able to find a launching point for the gospel within their circle of knowledge[current issues], and quotes from their poets, as he tells them about our Personal God and commended them for their religiousness.
it never really occured to me to find out more about my target group before speaking to them about the gospel, to make the gospel relevant to their lives/lifestyles. not one size fits all.

on the first night we played underground church.it was my first time playing.and i got caught for hand-signing to weiyee "what time did you come?".argh.
i had to do quite a no. of pushups.and being the unfit and weak-armed person that i am.
i am still aching.

had alot of team bonding time.which was fantastic.we learnt apologetics as well.cos of rajar and hema in our team who are non-christians.
one of our activities was to tell of the first impression that every member in the team gave.
for mine..alot of them said that i was and AM noisy and playful.one even mentioned violent.haha.
cos they witnessed mengchoo and i during our many "poke wars".hahaha.

there was an article that we had to read for our personal reflection time..its about being too busy.its important to find rest in Him.and even being too busy serving Him can be a danger as well.wow.i must keep that in mind.

during camp..though we went through equipping for our mission fields. i had separate issues that God is dealing with me personally.im still learning.its tough.but pruning is for the better remember.haha.

going shopping with my family today.pray i can find nice stuff.i need retail therapy.wahaha.

went to settler's after cafe cartel..and played games for a while before heading off for mission trip briefing.
we shld go play more often.

i had to raise $1700 for my mission trip to philippines.
and i was quite nervous about raising that amount.cos im quite shy when it comes to this kinda things.
but i entrusted it all to God.
so on saturday.. when i was asking my pastor for permission to raise support from my church.
my pastor told me that maybe the church could underwrite it for me. [ie. support the full amount for me.]
so pastor told me that he'll give me an answer on sunday.

but on saturday night..my dad was a lil apprehensive about having the church underwriting it for me because of some reasons.
i prayed that God would just open a way..if its a yes to have the church underwrite it..then let it be a yes..if its a no.im sure He would still provide for me.

on sunday..my pastor called me to his office.and i cleared some of my questions..cos i was afraid that what if next time i wanted to go for another mission..then where is the church standard in that..but he quickly told me that its not anyone can happily be support from the church..
he was underwriting it for me..because as i was speaking to him about my mission..God prompted him to underwrite it for me.so if God said yes..then thats that.if God did not say anything then i would not be supported.

YAY!!!!! my DADDY GOD really loves me TREMENDOUSLY!!!

im so happy. its a whole load off my chest.
really.cos i've got quite alot of commitments.and this..fantastic provision has really helped me alot.

i was presented the cheque infront of the church yesterday.and pastor also explained that it was God prompted not that its favouritism or anything.and stuff...

need to do presentation to the church on the 4th of june.to tell them what im going to do when im there.

do pray for me and my team.we're leaving on the 19th of june.for two weeks.to phillippines.
gonna build houses for the pple who are moving out of the slums.we'll be working alongside the homeowners of that house we're building.
